He wakes up early in the morning. Wiping off the dust from his back, he starts looking around for his master. While doing this, he watches a cat eating something. Probably a pigeon. But, he's not in the mood of chasing cats today.
His master is laying down in the sidewalk and some people is looking at him from the other sidewalk. He is used to it, people look at them all the time, what is strange is that his master is so silent. But he is good and protects his master, he barks and tries to scare them. Noone is going to say bad things about his master. Usually, his master gives him a little piece of meat to eat, but not this time.
He goes and sits down besides his master and waits for something to eat. "That's what happens when you drink to much." mutters someone that is passing by. But he barks and tries to bite him, noone is going to say bad things about his master.
Since his master seems to tired to day (he hasn’t moved a muscle yet), he decides to look for something to eat. His master is the only person that loves him and people never give food to a stupid dog. But when he is leaving him, a man tries to do something to his master! So he came barking and running like a man dog.

I woke up early in the morning and thought that it was going to be a completely normal like every other day. Saw the alarm clock… 7:00 AM.
I’m late today. I decided to run and skip breakfast, I don’t want to be late for work. I hope I can make it today.
Oh God! The day I need it the most and my car is not turning on. I’ll have to walk and I would’ve stopped in a Burger King if it wasn’t because I’m late. When I step out of my home, I see a small cat running a small bird, probably a pigeon.
After almost 3 minutes of walking, I find myself in front of a drunk man. He seems to be homeless. I try to reach out to help him and when I start to talk to him a dog comes barking like crazy. It seems like he wanted noone to approach his master.
I reach out my cell phone to call emergency and ask for help for that poor drunken man.

“What is that man thinking” is what the dog probably thought. He decided to stay and watch out for his master. He doesn’t care for food anymore. After some time of waiting, an ambulance shows up and tries to reach the drunk man, but he won’t let anyone approach his master. After several tries at biting them, they finally get the dog while they get the drunk man in the ambulance.

I stay some time not caring about my job anymore. I see how the dog tries to bite the paramedics until they can get the drunk man in the ambulance. They ask me if I’m related to that drunk man and I answer that I’m not. “He is dead” is what they say to me.

“He is dead” is what the dog heard.
